Great dance training starts with  being outfitted properly, in full uniform for each class.  The studio is a special place with special dress requirements.  Some items are available in stock at MCDF or shop through our online Discount Dance Supply Store.

• Dress Codes do not apply to hip hop

• Shoes listed are for class use.  Requirements may be different for recital / performance.

• Dancers may wear jazz pants or shorts in classes other than ballet

• In Hip Hop students may wear appropriate clothing of their choice - no marking soles on shoes

• Female dancers are not to wear panties with leotards and tights.

• For ballet classes hair is to be worn in a single bun or hair needs to be securely pulled away from face

• Students are not to wear jewelry in class.

• Students are not to wear additional items such as t-shirts, skirts, etc. unless approved by teacher.
