What is the production?

It's a Big Deal! MCDF’s Annual Production has been a rite of passage for thousands of MCDF Dancers over the past 20 years. This is a chance to shine in front of family and friends that is anticipated with nervous excitement. MCDF’s Annual Production offers our students a professionally directed performance that allows them to present the results of a year of hard work, dedication and progress to their families and friends. All of the dance routines are a part of a storyline starring our current Miss or Mr. Motor City Dance Factory. This year's theme is "Under the Sea".

A big part of the dance training process includes learning through performance. The experience helps build self-esteem and confidence. Onstage experience can also result in better school presentations, improved social skills and strong interview skills for future college or job opportunities. Participating in rehearsals helps children develop retention skills, teamwork and adaptability.

When is the production?

The production takes place May 20th and 21st of 2023. There are a total of four shows (two per day). All of our dance classes are scheduled to be in at least one of the shows. Please check the Show Split to know exactly what show / show(s) your dancer will perform.

Show A - Saturday May 20, 2023 1pm

Show B - Saturday May 20, 2023 6pm

Show C - Sunday May 21, 2023 1pm

Show D - Sunday May 21, 2023 6pm
